Solid Run started doing business Critical power solution in 1988, and was Incorporated in March 1992 and commencing business that same year, Solid Run Limited is a privately held engineering, computer and computer power protection company. It specializes in modern engineering design, site preparation, sales, installation and maintenance of power protection equipment, including UPS systems, inverters and stabilizers, as well as solar systems, computers, customer support and procurement services.

Solid Run maintains four offices in Nigeria: Port Harcourt, Lagos, Abuja and Warri. The company also works with overseas partners across Europe, Asia and North America.

The main objective of Solid Run Limited is to provide total support, solutions and services in general engineering, solar and renewable energy, maintenance, hardware and software support. We recognize that power protection and information technology are vital tools for maintaining a competitive edge in business. Through partners in Europe, the Americas and the Far East, we support rapid, cost-effective procurement for our clients. Our experience includes moving consignments exceeding five tonnes and travelling directly to manufacturers' yards to select goods when needed.
